Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, VU

The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Vilnius University traces its history to the Faculty of Economic Sciences, founded in 1940. It is one of the largest centres of economics and business education and research in Lithuania.

The faculty has departments of accounting and auditing, business, economic informatics, economic policy, finance, management, marketing, quantitative methods and theoretical economics. Its research focuses on the analysis, modelling and management of social and economic development.
